Get your one-day license ahead of time!
Important:
we've had so many new racers come out that we're running low on one-day
license forms. If you don't have an annual license and you want to be
sure to be able to race, buy your one-day license ahead of time and
bring the receipt tomorrow.
Just search for "Madison Practice Crits" in the USAC event finder and select 6/20 for the one-day license date. We love seeing new riders, so please keep coming out!

Practice Crit #3 (6/6)
We're back tomorrow for edition number three of the practice crits. The weather looks to be warm and overcast, but we're not supposed to get any rain.
This week's course is a little ambitious:
It's somewhat similar to week 1, but there's a bit of almost two-way traffic as riders have to cut across the infield and use the access lane to get to the climb on the near side banking.
Once again, thanks to Machinery Row for providing the prizes this week.
Hope to see you all out there!

This Week's Practice Crit (5/23)
Some updates for this week's crit:
Second race is free!
Juniors race free!
Please bring your number from last week! If you lost it, that's okay, but please keep your new number.
Numbers on the right.
This week's course is like the reverse of last week's, making use of the narrow lane to bring a little Euro feel to the proceedings:
Many thanks to our awesome sponsor, Machinery Row, for supplying the prizes this week.

Course for week #1
We're planning a nice simple loop tomorrow with a slight hill towards the end of the lap. The bank of the turn is probably about 20 feet of elevation gain.
Registration is at the booth by the entrance. There are port-a-potties behind the building in the parking lot.
Here's hoping it stays dry!

First practice crit of the year tomorrow
The first practice crit of the year will be tomorrow, 5/9, at 6:00 PM at Madison International Speedway. The weather looks a little iffy, so keep an eye on this space for cancellation information. Alternatively, email madisonpracticecrits@gmail.com, and I can put you on our listserv so you can get actively notified of changes to the crits. Hope to see you all tomorrow!
